After three days of disconnection Sify broadband is finally up and running. Although there were continuous calls made to the Sify customer service call centre it was only after three days that they got the connection up and running. For the past three many Sify users have faced a lot of problems and attitude problems from the Sify staff, which shoes the bad name from the company. The staff from Sify needs to be trained to high levels so that their customers know what the problem is and how to resolve the problem, in one case a girl from Sify was asking three times during the conversation what the problem was!

Sify problems are still on and yet again the users of Sify broadband have to face connection problems again. At first it was the windy and rainy weather then due to a long power cut recently Sify users were out of internet usage because their local cable operators did not have enough back up. Well something strongly needs to be done as, having a broadband connection shouldn’t mean that you suffer problems like no electricity and no internet at the same time. Although this problem has been reported to Sify many times nothing has been done about this. It wont be long until Sify users will eventually switch to other broadband providers.

Sify broadband is a broadband provider which all of a sudden shuts off the connection without any valid reason or notification. This is a major problem with the Sify connection and always causes problems for the users of their service. This is a something which doesn’t happen once in a while but it happens all the time, it’s either a problem with the local cable operator or Sify itself and no matter how many times you call them and complain the team of Sify simply take it easy and pass it over their heads.

Touch screens play a very vital part in technology these days, and include glidepoint and glidetouch technologies. These technologies have made it easier to work, using products such as wifi mobile phones, laptops. Touch screens come in use with mobile phones which provide the internet and broadband service, and it allows people to be more interactive with their phones. Before the time of touch screens large remotes and products were used which made having the whole product quite a nuisance, but now you can do a lot more with touch screens and have the best services from small products.

When choosing a broadband connection it is important to know how much you will be using the internet for, as this is what will determine the usage and package you require. If you are someone who is going to be using the internet to only check emails, then getting the lowest package which is probably 256kbps would be sufficient. But on the other hand if you are someone who is going to be chatting online and using the internet frequently then getting the unlimited package is best, as then you don’t have to pay for any extra costs if you go over the limit.

When having any kind of Internet or broadband connection, one of the most disrupting problems is the unreliable connections and the disconnections which you get. Although this is not such a problem in places like United Kingdom, USA, Canada and other such countries, but in countries like India, this is a major problem. Due to there being many electricity cuts, this also means the Internet being cut off. This affects many people in many different ways and especially those who run their businesses from the Internet.

Recently with the regular power cuts going on in New Delhi, people have also been facing themselves without broadband a connection, which ideally means no electricity then no broadband connection. When having a broadband connection the only problem you have to worry about is that when the connection will be cut and when you will be out of a broadband connection. So while being in Delhi you can never be assured that you will get a 24/7 reliable broadband connection.

Well at 1.30am there was an electricity cut, and along with the electricity cut the broadband connection was also cut off. Well so much for the backup from the internet provider or shall we shall the cable operator. Which ever one it may be, it just caused inconvenience to the broadband users. There are people who work during the night and for them this was a disaster. Due to the cable operator opening his shop at 11am in the morning, users will have to wait till then, until the system is rebooted up again, and in return broadband users get nothing in return.

The number of broadband users in India has increased by crossing the 3 million mark. Broadband subscribers have subscribed to broadband connections of 256 Kbps download and above. The figure which states that the number of broadband users reached 3 million was recorded in January 2008. The number of users has increased dramatically, since March 2006 when the number of users was around 1.35 million. More and more people have also begun to get more telephone connections too, and apparently this number for telephone connections and broadband users will increase.

After many weeks of getting a slow broadband connection, the Sify broadband speed has finally back to normal. Yes that’s right there was a time when it used to take around at least 5 minutes for a web page to open up, but now the speed of the broadband is the speed which you pay for. After weeks long of interrupted services and lost broadband connections, work is back to normal for many people. Let’s just hope it stays this way.

Near enough the whole of India has been experiencing slow broadband connections, and like mentioned before this is due to the damaged cables. It has been well over a month now that the slow connections are being provided to broadband users, but by the looks of it the problem seems to be resolved. Although from the past three days the connection has been very slow, slower than before, and it take more than a minute for an international websites to open up. One of the best solutions to get a better connection is to take out the internet cable and then plug it back in, hopefully this should do the trick, but if no luck, then it’s a matter of waiting or simply calling your service provider.

It was only a few weeks ago until I was thinking that Sify broadband is not so bad after all. But until a week ago, I released that I was wrong. For the past week I have had an unreliable connection of Sify broadband, without any reason the connection gets disconnected without any reason. This has happened many times during the past week and many times during the day too. Twice in a week the connection has gone during the night and it has not come back until the next morning………..Sify really needs to sort out its connection and needs to start making their customers happier.

In today’s high advanced world, many people have different methods of getting internet access, and one of the most popular methods is by getting a wireless network. One the main ways to get a wireless network is by getting a wireless router. The router is installed and connected to the main internet connection, and located in the home, where signal can easily be reached. The closer the computer to the router the better and faster the connection will be, the further away, the slower the connection will be. The routers that are available in shops now also support broadband connections and also dial up connection, so anyone with any internet connection can use the wireless router. For the Internet dial up users it is important that they have the RS-232 serial port, as this is required for the dial up connection.

One recent survey, gathering data from over 7,000 respondents in 10 European countries, shows that the internet is becoming a hub for all media. Among the fastest growing ways that people spend their time online is watching TV, video clips or films. Watching TV online requires fairly standard hardware and software from users as well as a broadband internet connection. Many TV channels allow users to watch TV online directly from the channel’s homepage, allowing users to watch programmes streamed in real-time, including news, sports, comedy, drama and factual programming. The sites also aim to be user-friendly and will provide troubleshooting guides should connecting to the service prove to be problematic. The survey estimates it has grown in popularity by 150% since last year, an increase accelerated by broadband penetration – 8 out of 10 of the people surveyed connected to the internet via broadband.
