Having a wireless router has many advantages and it allows you to connect up to four computers on one internet connection, but on a recent note, I have had some problems with a Netgear router. When connecting my Sify connection with directly the laptop it works perfectly fine, but when connecting through the router there is no connection. Although this connection was perfectly fine before all of a sudden it got disconnected. All I can say is that this problem gets resolved soon and that the connection works for both computers.

Although wireless networks are very convenient but they can be quite a hassle and the reason for this is that if ever there is a problem with your internet connection identifying the problem can be difficult. The other disadvantage is with the speed of the internet with a wireless network, as this slows the speed of the internet, but when having the internet connected with a wire it give fast speed which is what users want.

If you are someone who is on the go all the time and also require the Internet then getting a data card is a must. On the other hand if you around the home all the time in different places, then getting a router would be suitable. The speed not slow down using a router, but with the data card it all depends on the connection you get.

In today’s high advanced world, many people have different methods of getting internet access, and one of the most popular methods is by getting a wireless network. One the main ways to get a wireless network is by getting a wireless router. The router is installed and connected to the main internet connection, and located in the home, where signal can easily be reached. The closer the computer to the router the better and faster the connection will be, the further away, the slower the connection will be. The routers that are available in shops now also support broadband connections and also dial up connection, so anyone with any internet connection can use the wireless router. For the Internet dial up users it is important that they have the RS-232 serial port, as this is required for the dial up connection.

I have been using a Netgear Router for around 10 months now and it has been one of the most useful and reliable products ever brought. The wireless router can connect many computers on a wireless network. So no matter where your computer maybe in the house or office, you can connect to the internet easily, as long as your computer has wireless features. For spending over Rs1000 the money is well worth spent, and it is defiantly a product which I would recommend.

When wanting a good broadband connection and that too on the go, simply go for a Reliance Data Card. This is a data card which is very reliable and has a reasonably good speed. You can access the Internet in any part of India at anytime with good speeds, which makes it very good to use. The set up is very simple and easy and can be done within minutes. Reliance data card is definatly something which I would recommend.

Bsnl has announced their new data cards which are due to be launched any time next year and will have speeds as high as 2Mbps which you can use while traveling as well and will be much faster then most broadband connections available. This is going to be such a great thing for those like me who need the internet on the go all the time. I am not sure if bsnl data cards will actually provide such high speeds but even if its 1/4th the claimed speed I will be a happy bunny
I cant wait for this new data card thing to be launched.. I might even consider moving to Dehradun and live there in peace for a while away from the New Delhi rush.

Nokia will be launching their first ever wimax enabled phones some time next year and that nokia wimax phone will be capable of running external applications like skype and other voip softphones.
I am very very hopeful that voip will pick up in a big way in India once wimax enabled mobile devices are available at a reasonable price as voip calls will be literally free to call on other voip devices.
Wimax phones will most likely be a big hit in the India market and will prove to be a massive damage to the conventional gsm mobile operators cutting their customer base day by day.

Wireless broadband and Internet is getting popular, and many people want to get the wireless facility. At the moment Tata Indicom have come up with a pay to surf wireless service, which is very popular and in demand. Although the down point of this facility with Tata Indicom is that it is quite costly and not worth the money for the speed and service. But if you are someone who will need Internet on the go then it is good enough.

India is on the verge of another broadband revolution and this time the old telephone lines or crappy exchnges will not be an excuse for preventing the rural areas from getting broadband at cheaper rates.. the buzz word is wimax
Wimax has been launched in cities like Bangalore and Pune and is going to be launched in Mumbai soon.
Reliance wimax has received a very warm welcome from places where it has been launched and reliance wimax has plans to launch is countrywide very soon. Wimax is going to bring the prices of broadband connectivity down by a substantial amount as it doesnt have the last mile connectivity problem and dont need any wires. I will be looking farward for reliance wimax to be launched at New Delhi

Although this is not a confirmed report but I will still share with you all whatever I know.. Reliance broadband is all set to launch wimax in India and this is not going to be a small one its massive with almost whole country covered at one go with an exception of J and K and a few north eastern states where there is too much insurgency.
Reliance wimax is surely going to bring down the cost of internet connections as it wont need any last mile wiring atall as it is all going to be wireless. The cost of equipent is still on the higher side but once wimax gets popular the volumes should be able to bring the prices down a bit to make it at par with adsl modems. I am hoping that reliance broadband brings wimax as soon as possible and the remore areas get connected to the internet at the earliest.

I just cant wait for wimax to be launched in Delhi. I have heard that wimax will be here in delhi before the end of this year and in January next year nokia will launch their first ever wimax enabled phone here in India which will allow us to stay connected to the internet on the move. The best thing about this wimax phone is that it will allow us to use voip on the move

Voip is being widely used in India now and mostly people use to it make international calls but by the looks of it I think when wimax is launched and with the help of wimax phones it will be possible to use voip on the move which will obviously give it a big push. I wont be surprised if mobile phones go out or use due to the new wimax technology. I cant wait for wimax broadband as it will allow me to move around the city and still be able to stay connected all the time.
