Netgear Router

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

I have been using a Netgear Router for around 10 months now and it has been one of the most useful and reliable products ever brought. The wireless router can connect many computers on a wireless network. So no matter where your computer maybe in the house or office, you can connect to the internet easily, as long as your computer has wireless features. For spending over Rs1000 the money is well worth spent, and it is defiantly a product which I would recommend.

Wimax broadband

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

India is on the verge of another broadband revolution and this time the old telephone lines or crappy exchnges will not be an excuse for preventing the rural areas from getting broadband at cheaper rates.. the buzz word is wimax :) Wimax has been launched in cities like Bangalore and Pune and is going to be launched in Mumbai soon.

Reliance wimax has received a very warm welcome from places where it has been launched and reliance wimax has plans to launch is countrywide very soon. Wimax is going to bring the prices of broadband connectivity down by a substantial amount as it doesnt have the last mile connectivity problem and dont need any wires. I will be looking farward for reliance wimax to be launched at New Delhi

IGI is now wifi enabled

Thursday, May 17th, 2007

I have been waiting for a long time for the airport to get wifi enabled and the reason is that its only 5 mins from my place here in Delhi and never has a power cut so when I need a steady connection and want to do some important work I can just drive down to the coffee shop at the Airport and sit there for hours doing my work without worrying about a power cut when I am uploading my work or downloading something important which is a pain when you loose a lot of data.At home I get atleast 3 power cuts every day, although I have a good power back up inverter the problem is that internet connection goes down because the local cable operator doesnt have any power back up atall.
