In the last toolbar update of Google page rank a lot of very old and major websites lost their page rank, some of them came down from PR8 to 3-4 and a lot of them even went down to zero. I have noticed that they were mainly those websites which had a lot of sitewide footer links and in the side bars. I think most of those links are sponsored links to get pr advantage and eventually alter the google search engine results which is not something google would like so they tracked down these sites and killed them on ranks and pr both.

I dont sell links but I do have links to my own sites on almost every site and they are all relevant to each other but still some of my sites lost PR so not too sure how to get around that.

I am hoping that after removing all sitewide links from all my sites I will get my lost PR back in the next update which is not too far.. may be another month or so

Its been a year since Ive been waiting for this site to rank on the first page of google search for keyword “broadband voip” and today it happened for the first time and I am sure it wont stay long as the competetion is pretty tough and I dont buy links like others do so I dont really have a chance. I am hoping that google does something about artificial or paid links and discounts them when calculating importance of a page.

I have always wonderd .info domains cost the same as .com or a .net most of the time but then all of a sudden godaddy comes up with a special offer and sells them for 99 cents so were we being ripped off of is godaddy making losses on every sale? I have no clue as I am not very much into domain buying and selling and only concentrate on building good content and quality sites.

On another site I am seeing the same trend now and organic search engine traffic dying for some reason and google has chucked deep into page 20-30 for most of the keywords so litrally no  traffic for me anymore I have hired a seo company to look into these problems for me which is going to cost me more then 2000 pounds but the money I am loosing on a daily basis is far more then that

 There was a back link update just before google page rank update so I am hoping that this update was not final as this snap shot was a bit too early for me to get very good results.If the snap shot is taken now I am sure things would have been very different if another update takes place within a week or so, this does happen some times when google adjusts their alog to correct mistakes.

Google updated page rank for websites again yesterday and I got good results oveall but one of my sites dropped from pr6 to pr2 L I suppose google has changed their alog fo page rank as I havent lost any in links for that website and have been adding new content regularly.I am hoping things go back to normal soon.
