Broadband - Voip

After using the reliance data card for more then two weeks and not facing any trouble at all I am wondering what would reliance broadband service me like and if reliance broadband keeps up the excellent service standards like reliance data card does?

If you are looking to get a new wireless internet connection I would say look no furthur and just go for a reliance data card which has good speeds and not too far from what they claim. Customer service is pretty good as well and well trained call centre staff makes it even better.

Any one here using a reliance broadband connection? I would love to hear what you have to say about reliance broadband service.

Although this is not a confirmed report but I will still share with you all whatever I know..  Reliance broadband is all set to launch wimax in India and this is not going to be a small one its massive with almost whole country covered at one go with an exception of J and K and a few north eastern states where there is too much insurgency.

Reliance wimax is surely going to bring down the cost of internet connections as it wont need any last mile wiring atall as it is all going to be wireless. The cost of equipent is still on the higher side but once wimax gets popular the volumes should be able to bring the prices down a bit to make it at par with adsl modems. I am hoping that reliance broadband brings wimax as soon as possible and the remore areas get connected to the internet at the earliest.

I applied for a reliance broadband internet connection back in January and at that time was promised that I will get a call from their sales department within 72 hours and my connection will be up and running within 7 days but none of this ever happened an its been more then two months I am still waiting for that phone call.I did call reliance a few times and got the same reply saying will be contacted within 72 hours looks like this 72 hours are longer then normal 72 hours.

As some of you might know that I was going to conduct a review on reliance broadband services and for that purpose I applied for a connection a few weeks ago. I was promised that a sales rep will get in touch with me within 72 hours and to date no one turned up and thats after me calling them a few times. They said my connection will be up and running in 7 days when I first called up but after all that chasing I havent seen any signs of a new connection.

So the review is pending due to reliance broadband unwilling to provide me with a connection.

I applied for a reliance broadband connection as part of a review attempt for indiabroadband.net but since the day I applied for thier broadband connection there has been no communication from thier side and nor has anyone turned up at my place as promised.

I will have to say that reliance broadband is not a company which you can rely upon if you have any set dead lines as the staff there doesnt have anything to do with this word called customer service and the sales team is getting paid for doing nothing…

If I was a normal customer and if you ask my views about reliance broadband I would say just stay away from them.

I had a very good impression about reliance broadband until a few days ago but this first hand experience has changed it once and for all.

I applied for a new connection and they said they will send a sales man to my place and I waited for a few days and called them a few times and was advised they have sent the request again. I called up again today to find out no one is gonna come around and its me who has to go to the local cable operator. I will try to find out about this cable operator in the morning and see what he says.

As you must have read in my previous posts that I have applied for a reliance broadband connection but its been more then 72 hours now and no one turned up.Reliance broadband failed in the first test as they promised that some one will come to my place to see where the cables will be laid and to get the money from me.

The next deadline they have set up for themselves is that they said I will get connected in 7 days time which doesnt look right to me now as they have failed in the first one.

Hope they keep up thier promise this time and set up the connection.

Broadband connection is all I need on this earth now which is 24/7 and doesn’t drop when I am doing something important and I have called reliance broadband guys for this reason and I am waiting for their guy to come to my place and have a look around how the cables will reach my place.I am hoping to get this connection in 7 days time as promised by Reliance broadband call centre guys.

  The speeds are better then sify as they are providing 300kbps at rs 40 a day which amounts to rs1200 per month and is still a better option then sify given the amount of time it actually is available and I a hoping Reliance will do a bit better in terms of uptime.

I have been using sify broadband for some time now and cant take it anymore so I decided to check if there are any other isp’s in my area and so I called Reliance broadband to see if they have any presence here and to my surprise they are here So I registered with them over the phone and opted for thier 300kbps connection which doesnt have any limits and after going through thier website I found out that the upload speed with be 300kbps aswell which is just great.
