Broadband - Voip

These days’ communicating has become very easy and simple, and this is because of the service provided by the internet. By having an internet connection you are easily able to keep in contact with friends and family, no matter where they may in the world. There are two main ways of communicating using the internet which are by email or voice of internet protocol (voip). Other ways now include new features such as social networking sites, web cam chats, messenger services and many other services. With the internet life has become very easy and simple and it allows you not only to keep in contact with friends but also allows you to make new friends.

The government of India has yet again decided to keep the benchmark of 256kbps intact to differentiate broadband from slow internet services. There has been numerous proposals to change the limit to 512kbps like many other developed countries in Europe and North America have right now.

The governments decision comes in saying that they are trying to increase broadband connectivity in the country and dont want to restrict the isp’s in any way for the time being.

This decision comes as a defeat to the customer of isps in India and I am hoping that this decision is reconsidered very soon and the minimum limit is changed to 512kbps as soon as possible.

Communication has come a long way in today’s date. In ancient communication was very difficult, and messages were passed via people, who used to travel to the destination where the message was to be sent, then there came telegraphs, where messages were sent via paper. Letters addressed to people followed this procedure, and this is something, which became international. After many years there then was a telephone, which made communicating very easy and convenient. When we look at technology now we have mobile phones, emails and life just becomes much more easy, just think if we didn’t have any of this!!!!!!
